Day two of the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed in England was held today, where a veritable cornucopia of amazing metal new and old went racing up the famed hill on Lord March’s estate. The hill-climb participants include, naturally, a pile of cars entered by manufacturers keen on showcasing their latest and greatest models in front of a petrol-blooded audience.
While accidents aren’t all that common at Goodwood, they do happen, and this Alfa Romeo 4C’s driver became intimately familiar with the hay bales lining the course. Fortunately, the damage was limited to cracked carbon fiber and a bruised ego, but we feel most for the passenger, who appeared to be having the time of his life until it all came to an abrupt end.
