Among the hot-ass wagons that aren’t available here, Audi’s RS6 Avant ranks right up there with the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake and sundry historical BMW M5 Touring models. Now, according to GTSpirit , a U.K. dealer leaked information that indicates the RS6 is about to get even more bad-ass.
That’s because Audi appears to be ready to drop an RS6 “Plus” Avant, powered by a burlier version of the standard car’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8. Power will stand at a stout 600 horsepower, up from 560 in the standard RS6. (We get the same engine and upgraded chassis in our RS7.)
According to the report, the British Audi dealer posted an image and some details of the car online. The materials were quickly pulled down, but not before someone captured a screengrab containing a frontal image of the car and the accompanying caption: “The RS6 Plus is the latest of Audi’s stunning RS ‘Plus’ models, offering even greater performance and agility than the standard RS6—on or off the track. The RS6 Avant Plus uses a tuned version of the 4.0-litre V-8 TFSI RS6 engine which produces 600 hp—40 more than the RS6.”

Based on the image, it doesn’t appear that the Plus will change much visually. Unfortunately, like the regular RS6 Avant—no sedan is available—it won’t be coming to the United States. Terrible, right?
