The 2015 BMW X6 M is the second generation of the company's ultimate performance coupe-like SUV The second generation of the BMW X6 M aims to set new standards in the performance SUV sector. On paper it has certainly succeeded. With 567bhp it is 17bhp more powerful than the previous version of the coupe-like SUV, while its 553lb ft of torque is up by 52lb ft over the last generation.More significantly, it has 51bhp more than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and 46bhp more than the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG.For those that are interested in such things when buying a £93k performance SUV, fuel economy has improved by 5.2mpg over the old car. It might not sound like much, but given that the new car claims 25.5mpg on average, that is a significant increase.Perhaps the most staggering figure, though, is the 0-62mph time, which takes just 4.2 seconds - 0.1sec faster than the BMW M5 saloon.
