With SEMA coming up the first week of November, the OEMs are showing off the most souped-up, decked-out vehicles they’ll be bringing to the show. Ford’s brand-new 2015 F-150 is expected to be one of the stars, with its maker bringing these two heavily customized versions of the all-aluminum pickup.
2015 Ford F-150 Deegan 38
First up is the Deegan 38, appointed by Ford Racing’s Brian Deegan for high-speed off-road blasts. The 3.5-liter-EcoBoost-powered pickup wears Mickey Thompson wheels and tires and Fox Racing shocks along with all the high-power LED lighting and cargo-carrying needs for a wild day (or night) of desert adventures. There’s no word exactly how much extra power the engine makes—multiple tweaks are mentioned—but you can bet it’s more than the 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft bestowed by the factory.
2015 Ford F-150 Street Truck
At the other end of the altitude spectrum, this Vaughn Gittin Jr.–tweaked truck has the Formula Drift superstar’s signature all over it. An Air Lift Performance suspension offers 12 inches of travel and height adjustability, while Recaro seating lets up to five adrenaline junkies join in the fun. Gittin says the truck will have “daily on-and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping capabilities.” We hope to see it do its thing at SEMA this year.
