Toyota released pricing today for the new TRD Pro Series versions of the 2015 Tacoma pickup and 4Runner SUV. The Tacoma starts at $36,410 for the Access Cab with a six-speed manual and ranges up to $38,300 for the Double Cab with a five-speed automatic. The 4Runner is automatic-only and starts at $41,995.
All TRD Pro Series models are four-wheel drive and feature special suspension components such as Bilstein rear shocks with remote fluid reservoirs and TRD front springs. Cosmetic mods include unique grilles with retro TOYOTA lettering, black aluminum wheels, and TRD floor mats and shift knobs. Three colors are offered: Attitude Black metallic, Super White, and a red shade dubbed Inferno.
The TRD Pro Tacoma has 16-inch beadlock-style wheels with BFGoodrich LT265/70 all-terrain tires, special front springs with a 1.75-inch lift, a decreased spring rate, a special TRD exhaust, and external TRD PRO badging.
The TRD Pro 4Runner rides on 17-inch wheels shod with Nitto P265/70 all-terrain tires. It’s lifted 1.0 inch up front and has a 0.25-inch-thick aluminum front skid plate. Inside, the TRD Pro 4Runner is all luxury, however, featuring standard Entune audio with navigation, red-stitched black SofTex–trimmed seating, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic headlamps, an auto-dimming mirror, and a Homelink universal transmitter.
