It was more than a year ago that Alfa Romeo declared its impending return to the U.S. market and detailed the 500 Launch Edition 4C sports cars that would land first. It has taken a little longer than expected, but since Alfa is actually for real coming here later this summer, we figured we’d revisit the Launch Edition. We recently spent some time with one in U.S. spec—the handful of photos that accompanied the announcement were of Euro-market cars—so we snapped some fresh pics.
To recap, the Launch Edition goes on sale before the regular 4C hits dealerships and at a cost of $69,695. That’s quite a bit more than the $55,195 base model, but the car does pack a bunch of otherwise optional equipment as standard.
