WHAT WE LIKE: Power. Compared with some of the more monstrous supercharged V-8s that we regularly enjoy—Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s and their ilk—the F-type’s 495-hp 5.0-liter V-8 acquits itself well. Throttle response is sharp, the supercharger never draws attention to itself, and the automatic transmission shifts quickly. Having now had plenty of seat time in the V-6 S F-type, one editor has charged the V-8 with being overkill, but the rest of us just take that as a compliment. READ MORE ››
