Similar to sister company Jaguar’s Heritage Driving Experience, Land Rover’s offerings range from low-priced passenger-seat adventures to a full behind-the-wheel tour of the brand’s 67-year history. The most basic package, priced at just £40 ($61 at today’s exchange rate) lets you ride shotgun with a Land Rover Experience instructor at the company’s off-road park; the £125 ($192) Range Rover Then & Now package lets you compare a first-generation Range Rover with its 2015 progeny—including “a track induction for a higher speed experience,” something that was probably unfathomable in the early days when Range Rovers weren’t available in 510-hp supercharged form.
-Then there’s the top-of-the-menu Collection experience, priced at £250 ($374), which lets you drive “all the key models in the brand’s history from the 1940s right up to the 2010s.” This package includes the earliest Series Land Rovers, military vehicles, and the full span of the Defender lineup, with both on- and off-road driving.
