These could be the first pictures of the production-ready Bentley Bentayga, which is scheduled to make its global debut at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
The images, which show a 1:18 scale diecast model of the Bentayga, were posted on a Chinese news website. They show a model of the SUV that has reportedly been made by Chinese toy factories to hand out to VIPs at the Frankfurt show.
Bentley has confirmed that it is looking into the source of the leak, but sources refused to confirm or deny whether this really is the production Bentayga.
Test mules for the Bentayga continue to be seen in the run-up to its Frankfurt debut, and the overall proportions and shape of those mules appear to be echoed by this model. The car's striking grille, rounded headlights and large air vents can also be seen here.
The Bentley Bentayga will go on sale in 2016 for a starting price upwards of £130,000. Rivals include the Range Rover SVAutobiography, upcoming Rolls-Royce Project Cullinan SUV and the Lamborghini Urus.
If proven accurate, this wouldn't be the first time a new car has received an early debut due to leaked pictures of a model. Last year, Land Rover's new Discovery Sport was given an early showing thanks to pictures of a similar diecast model, and the same happened to Porshe's new GT3 RS prior to its debut at this year's Frankfurt motor show.
