Good news for those of you who ordered a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The first cars have left the factory in Bowling Green and are headed to dealers right now. That means the first customers will have theirs by the end of the week.
Here’s a quick run down for those of you with foggy memories. The Z06 comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine good for 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. When paired with the standard seven-speed manual transmission, those numbers are good enough to get the car to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, but the optional eight-speed automatic trims that number down to 2.95 seconds.

And then there’s the Z07 package with it’s vicious aero work, barely street legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and carbon ceramic rotors.
Yeah, someone’s going to have a very happy holiday.
