But what if you could mash the two together?
-That’s what evil genius Ezequiel López did. He took the visual footage from the vintage comedy and overlaid it with the gritty, grim voiceover from the Mad Max trailer. A jarring juxtaposition? Certainly. But also, gosh-danged hilarious.

If nothing else, this amazingly convincing mashup sholud serve as a reminder as to how great It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is. With an all-star cast the size of an NFL team and chock-full of stunt driving that can still drop jaws today, it’s a madcap car comedy you should definitely re-watch. Just don’t expect it to be as apocalyptic as this totally made-up trailer will lead you to believe.
