What looks like an Acura NSX, talks like an Acura NSX, and even smells like an Acura NSX? The NSX . . . by Honda. Indeed, just as was the case with the original NSX, Honda will sell a version with its “H” badge on the hood, decklid, and steering wheel in the European and Japanese markets—and that version just debuted at the 2015 Geneva auto show.
The Honda NSX, like the Acura model, will be assembled in Ohio, and badges aside, the two are identical. Between the passenger cell and the rear axle sits the same 75-degree V-6 engine and motor/generator, while the front axle is home to a pair of independently controlled electric motors. No output figures have been provided for the Honda, but we suspect the same 500-plus-horsepower quoted for our Acura will hold true for the Big H version. If you’re a European bent on the new NSX, take note: Deliveries begin first thing next year.

As for enthusiasts here in the States, yes, we’ll take a wild guess and declare that, at some point, an American NSX owner or 27 will slap these Honda badges on their Acura. Because, y’know, red-painted Honda badges instantly make any Acura more bitchin’. Or so we’re told.
