Just because, Nissan has released a video of its ZEOD RC racer—the kinda, sorta copy of the innovative DeltaWing race car—smashing head-on into a wall. And because car crashes tend to look better in slow motion, the clip has incorporates a liberal amount. It’s a cool watch, and perhaps the most interesting thing about the clip is being able to see how a carbon-fiber snout responds to meeting a wall at speed. It more or less disintegrates, but in a controlled manner that clearly does a good job of absorbing the crash forces.
