Some of the most coveted finds for classic-car collectors are vehicles in nearly original condition that have never received a major restoration. This 1970 Ford Bronco is a perfect example of one of those cars and is for sale on eBay right now.
-Originally offered in 1966, the Bronco was designed to compete with the Jeep CJ and other small off-road vehicles of the time. It featured four-wheel drive and a variety of six- and eight-cylinder engines with a 205-hp 5.0-liter V-8 being the most powerful. The first-generation Bronco was made until 1977, but due to relatively low sales volume, Ford decided that the next-generation Bronco would need to be substantially bigger to compete in its market segment.

The seller claims this 95,000-mile Bronco has all-original sheetmetal and received a respray and a redone interior in 2009. Being a Sport model, it has some special features such as chrome bumpers and unique trim.
-Although the first-generation Bronco was never a sales hit, it has come back into vogue recently due to its simplistic design, off-road capability, and relative rarity. Since so many early Broncos were modified for extreme off-roading, with fenders cut to accept larger tires and/or suspensions raised to increase ground clearance, it’s particularly rare to find one in as-delivered condition, like this example.
