Kurt Busch wins Toyota Owners 400
RICHMOND, VA (TheSpread) – Kurt Busch got a very important victory on Sunday, as he claimed the win in the NASCAR Toyota Owners 400.
Due to a suspension to start the year, Busch needed a win to make the Chase this season and he got it on Sunday, leading 291 of the 400 laps to get the win. The win makes him one of seven drivers this season with a victory. Kevin Harvick finished second in the race to continue his dominant season.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Busch entered the week with 7/1 odds to win this race, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $800.
Harvick remains in first in the point standings by 33 on the field. Joey Logano is second, 33 points out of first place. Logano finished fifth on Sunday. Jimmie Johnson took third in Sunday’s race while Jamie McMurray finished fourth.
